Hello,

I want to tell about an issue in Fedora server (and minimal as well) in Raspberry Pi 3, at first, booting is a bit slow and some times it doesn't boot at all (it stops some where before setting up wizard). As well, the system response is too slow, e.g., I write dnf, then I have to wait for four seconds maybe or more to get response, and almost the respnose on everything is horribly slow. My SD-Card is class 10 48Mbps, and tested with Centos and Raspbian, and it worked very good with them (I tried two SD-Cards actually, but with same problem), so I am sure that my hardware is not the problem.

P.S. I am using Fedora 25 Beta

I hope you will find a solution for that soon.

Regards.

Where do you think I downloaded fedora for my rpi3 from? If course I was there, but it caused that mentioned problem

We aren't psychic, so we can't know where you got it without you telling us. Are you using the Fedora 25 beta, or something else?

I had a similar problem on my Pi2 (was running fedberry ) the problem was with a version the 4.4 kernel. So when 4.5 or later was relased it started working w/o problem.

Ok so you think I have to wait for the next kernel? I don't think it is practical, so why fedora says that they supports RPi3 officially if it is not gonna be useable?

Note that the current kernel in Fedora 25 Beta is 4.8.x, so 4.4 vs. 4.5 shouldn't come into it.

@Mohammed Noureldin, I have the same issue. Have you ever been able to solve this?

I've installed F25 Server on my Raspberry 3b too. It's running 4.10.13-200.fc25.armv7hl and it is still terribly slow. Fortunately I got rid of annoyng "i2c" messages of 4.8 kernel but I hoped last one will be faster. Quick look at nmon revealed that SD card (Class 10 as well) is 99% busy handling io performed by systemd. And traffic is around 64k /s So yes, the problem still exists. Did you managed to solve it ? - I'm asking since your post is already couple of months old :-)
