Hi,

i upgraded to F25 yesterday, a few package conflicts asides everything went smooth. i use Cinnamon and after todays update of cinnamon packages i noticed some strange behaviour: - Panel and Menu Button won't react to left or right mouseclicks. A Right Click is like clicking right on the desktop below. - Menu reacts to (Win)Menukey.

Anybody knows how to fix it?

Having the same issue on other laptop. This laptop is fine. Issue seams to be intermittent.

Hi, same with me. But i have two F25. In one it's broken from session start. In the other one it takes some time until it becomes unreactive. One thing i found out is, that my Extensions are "gone" from the list of installed extensions. However they seem to work except Panel/Menu.

Remove any third-party applets and cinnamon themes as the maintainers haven't updated them.

just read the linked article. One promising candidate for a workaround is remove "WindowListWithAppGrouping". Seemed to helped some people over there.

just read in leigh123linux link,

people may instead consider using **icing task manager**, which is in actively maintained fork of the same program and has the fixes for the issue already.

and icing task manager is working after cinnamon --refresh
