When I finished upgrading to Fedora 25, I can no longer run plank anymore. I tried anything I got. Restarting the laptop, reinstalling the plank through dnf. Nothing worked. Each time I type in the command plank, it says:

[WARN 16:03:33.313805] [Environment:161] XDG_SESSION_CLASS not set in this environment!

[CRITICAL 16:03:33.313860] [AbstractMain:257] Only X11 environments are supported.

Note that 16:03:33.313805 and 16:03:33.313860 are the times I executed the command.

How am I gonna fix the environment?

The message is very clear, your aplication is not compatble with WAYLAND -> Only X11 environments are supported. is works only with Xorg, I suggest to you to open a ticket in RedHat Bugzilla against your packages.

another solution is select xorg in your user login screen.

you can follow this tip for debugging waylan problem...
