I installed Fedora KDE on one of my USB keys however during start up I show Fedora Media Writer and two EFIs in addition to my HD?. Both the EFIs boot to Fedora KDE Live.

What's going on?

I'm using a 2008 iMac.

Thanks

Macs come with a FAT32 EFI System partition, created by macOS's Disk Utility. Fedora's installer does something unique, by creating a small HFS+ volume to put the bootloader on, and is effectively treated as an EFI system partition by Fedora, while macOS just sees it as a small HFS+ volume. It should permit switching between macOS and Fedora by holding down the option key. Also, Startup Disk panel in System Preferences should see Fedora too but recent macOS versions seem to have changed, on my Mac this no longer works for some reason.
