i’m trying to click on cheese but its showing “no device is found”

kernel version:-5.19.4(new)… i have also checked in older version that is 5.18.17-200.fc36.x86_64
gnome 42.4

I do not see a camera in either of those lists.
Does it show with inxi -Gxx?

If the camera is configured when it is connected or during boot then that should be seen with dmesg. If it fails to configure either it is totally not recognized or the driver is not available. If the driver is not loaded then no app can access it.

this is my output of inxi -Gxx

Try to run ‘lsusb’

see this

O did not my lapi have a hardware key that detaches the camera and maybe i have pressed that unknowingly and i thought it was a hardware issuee checking with a fresh fedora iso and live boot into it still when it did not work then i find it in Internet.
Thanks for help. Problem resolved
