Contribute at the Fedora Test Week for Kernel 5.8

The QA (Quality Assurance) and the Kernel teams invite all of you to participate in the Kernel 5.8 Test week which is happening from 2020-08-17 to 2020-08-24.
It’s fairly simple, head over to the wiki and read in details about the test week and simply run the test case mentioned in and enter your results in the webapp.

As usual, the Fedora QA team will hangout at #fedora-test-day on Freenode for question and discussion.

Hi the COPR builds for the official test kernel have been failing for a few days. Is that right? Doesn’t seem OK.

I asked on IRC in the fedora-test-day channel.
If you look at the builds, i.e. we can see that only the 32 bit ARM builds are failing since a long time. All the other copr architectures were built successfully.

Alternatively, you can easily download the kernel build from koji:

 koji download-build --arch=x86_64 kernel-5.8.2-300.fc32

then install it from within the downloaded directory (sudo dnf update kernel*)
