Ctrl + Shift combination

Hi, I have a problem with Ctrl+Shift+ combination, I’m using Ctrl+Shift comb for layout switching and I belive it was set during installation a while ago. I knew there is a bug when other combinations starting from Ctrl+Shift+… wont work, but that is matter of habit. Since some moment I’ve been experiencing problem with it, the combination uses some hidden layout - depending on my system language, so I have English(setted by me) + Russian(setted as well) + Russian(my system language), that is a problem by its own, but furthemore layouts menu broken, because there are only two layouts in it. Super+Space works fine by the way, so I’m looking how to disable Ctrl+Shift combination(it doesnt apear in the settings) to use other Ctrl+Shift+<key> combinations or how to fix it, would be glad to get any help.

Could you please give us more info’s as :

inxi -Fzx in terminal and post the output as </> Preformatted text here.

I understood your problem but not really know what your set up is. To avoid asking and answering unnecessary questions please give us the additional information.

Did you try to “Reset All…” under Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts ?

Yes, I did, It doesn’t help

gsettings list-recursively | grep "<Control><Shift>"
should give you a list of what is utilizing that key combination.

You may have to change these with the CLI or using dconf editor as not all them may be exposed in settings.

Still nothing.

Does it work the same under a new user?

If so it might be another application.
