Dbus-broker denied send_msg after dnf upgrade

Hello,

I have been unable to boot normally ever since running dnf upgrade last night. I was able to boot after putting selinux in ‘permissive’ mode from the kernel command line (enforcing=0). The audit logs are full of avc messages about /usr/bin/dbus-broker being denied send_msg.

type=USER_AVC msg=audit(1572172429.079:5327): pid=1253 uid=81 auid=4294967295 ses=4294967295 subj=system_u:system_r:system_dbusd_t:s0-s0:c0.c1023 msg='avc: denied { send_msg } for scontext=system_u:system_r:rpm_t:s0 tcontext= tclass=dbus permissive=1 exe="/usr/bin/dbus-broker" sauid=81 hostname=? addr=? terminal=?'UID="dbus" AUID="unset" SAUID="dbus"

Anyone know anything more about the issue and how it can be resolved? I’d rather have selinux enabled…

Edit: I have already tried relabeling the entire filesystem. audit2why is not helpful with those messages either (running in permissive mode).
