When I run sensors it’s showing that my CPU and GPU fans are at 0. Is this normal?

Hi,

Maybe it should be ok if you hear they work when you playing a game or seeing videos just check temperature. Surely they are controlled by the BIOS like every PC but in any cases they can not be read and with Dell it looks like a bit special but you can know a bit more about it if you read this 2 links.

If you read both links you will see than if this do show speed 0 not necessarily is a problem.

Sure in the Bios there are a option with graphics to see and fix the fans too and see in realtime how they do work.

But like said before, if temperatures is ok and you hear the fans work don’t need touch anything and just you can check that all is ok through a look in your bios maybe there is one option to monitoring them like every “gaming stuff” usually is including.
