ELAN touchpad doesn't works on Fedora 31 KDE on Acer Aspire ES1-520 notebook

Hi,

ELAN touchpad doesn’t works on Fedora 31 KDE on Acer Aspire ES1-520 notebook.

Fix?

You have to explain the issue

I have a notebook (laptop) Acer Aspire ES1-520.

I had installed Fedora 31 KDE and the ELAN touchpad isn’t working (no modules for it?).

I did ‘dnf update’ but the ELAN touchpad still isn’t working.

Add the following to your Kernel Parameters and boot up … see if that helps:
i8042.nomux=1 i8042.reset

1.Reset
2.Press F2 to enter in BIOS
3.Main
4.Set touchpad as basic (NOT ADVANCED!!!).
5.Press F10 to save changes I hope this sequence to solve your problems
