Excessive battery consumption and Hedgehog Fedora

Hello
I recently installed Fedora 31 on my Asus laptop next to Windows.

Dear @mahdizare

As mentioned before, the part related to the power saving function can be divided into the hardware part and the software part.

It activates the power saving function on the bios and controls the operation part to control the basic operation.

You can implement a method of dropping a high-performance clock or a strategy that automatically responds flexibly to the load.

And, consider the use of hdd, such as semiconductor type ssd replacement.

In the graphic part, there is a method to reduce the power consumption by applying the settings in the nvidia X Server Setting (OpenGL Settings)

Have a nice day!

Check the performance and power saving related parts in the BIOS, and check if the options can be changed.

At this time, check the status of the running disk, and check the hardware status.

The U type of the cpu is related to the power saving function, and the H type of the cpu has heat, but the performance is better.

Turn on the power, enter BIOS mode and check the above.

You can manage the power part automatically through the same operation as seen in the picture above.

Depending on the gui used, the power saving part may be prepared separately, and related settings may be additionally changed depending on the management status.

The battery management part of the laptop can be managed more intelligently by installing “tlp, powertop”, so if necessary, install the program and upload it to the daemon.

Hope it helps a little. I want you to always be careful about corona and take good care of your health. Fighting all!

Have a nice day…!
