I just installed F30 and I would like to use the default desktop manager, GNOME. However, I find it very quiet compared to Cinnamon. I have been trying to copy over the Cinnamon sounds file to a custom folder I created in /usr/share/sounds. GNOME tweaks detects the new theme, but the naming of my sound files must be off (I was using the naming conventions from http://0pointer.de/public/sound-naming-spec.html). Can anyone please help on how to create a custom sound theme on GNOME?
I had to use dconf-editor to change /org/gnome/desktop/sound/input-feedback-sounds to on. Now it seems to be working.
