Fedora 30 customize sound theme

I just installed F30 and I would like to use the default desktop manager, GNOME. However, I find it very quiet compared to Cinnamon. I have been trying to copy over the Cinnamon sounds file to a custom folder I created in /usr/share/sounds. GNOME tweaks detects the new theme, but the naming of my sound files must be off (I was using the naming conventions from Sound Naming Specification). Can anyone please help on how to create a custom sound theme on GNOME?

I had to use dconf-editor to change /org/gnome/desktop/sound/input-feedback-sounds to on. Now it seems to be working.
