Fedora 34 on Raspberry Pi4

Unfortunately Fedora still is not supporting the Raspberry Pi 4 very well (no accelerated graphics); however, there is a project on rpmfusion that links Fedora with the kernel from the Pi foundation.

This means that you get the Fedora 34 desktop with full video driver (v34/vc3 accelerated) support!!

I installed it last week and it works great…

This is really cool!

Does anybody know when Fedora will have “official” support for Raspberry Pi 4, or what’s missing for it?

I suppose it’s just a matter of time until the changes done to the kernel by raspberry folks being upstreamed to linux proper, then fedora’s default kernel will support raspberry 4 out of the box.
