Fedora Silverblue 33 new SSD copy/image GUI way

Hi, im new to linux. I’m using Fedora Silverblue for a year now… Why? Fedora is awesome and I heard Silverblue is secure. I’m trying to migrate my old HDD Fedora Silverblue to my new SSD but I do not know how to. Is there a GUI way of doing that? I have some custom configs so I would like to make a 1:1 copy of my system to this new hardware. Is that possible? Thank you!

Welcome to the forum

Well, if you’re not tied to the GUI an easy way to clone fedora might just be what you are looking for. Althou I’m not using silverblue, this will give you an 1:1 copy of your current system.

I’m afraid of DD but I will try if there is no other option. Thanks

Well, there are other solutions like clonezilla for instance. But if you feel uncomfortable on the cmdline it won’t make any difference I guess… Working with destructive file-operations is nothing that should be done on the fly, so it is perfectly ok to be on guard. Take your time and double-check what you’re doing.

And if in doubt, that’s what this forum is for
