Fedora Silverblue 36 can't apply system-updates (CLI and Gnome Software)

Silverblue 36 can’t apply system-updates(CLI and Gnome-Software). The system reboots, but I get the following message in the Log: “Failed to start ostree-boot-complete.service - OSTree Complete Boot.”.

After reboot the game begins again.

What can I do?

Could it be related to this issue?

My solution for this issue on an BIOS-Legacy System( No UEFI) HP HDX-18 Notebook (12 years old):

  1. I reinstalled Fedora Silverblue 36 with the Anaconda customized option ( 1 SSD with Windows 10 BitLocker, 1 HDD with Fedora Silverblue 36) recommended “Fedora 36 btrfs layout”

  2. After the first setup for Gnome i do a “grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg” because Anaconda have not build a grub-menu and so I can’t start Windows 10.

  3. Reboot and immediately updating the whole System with Gnome-Software and after rebooting again grub-menu was updated correctly.

  4. Now the layering of packages, flat-pack installation etc. works fine without further manual intervention and so Silverblue is now my daily-driver.

I hope this short description helps anybody to solve similar issues.
