Files app. slow down

Hi, I have problem with Files, after some time app. becoming very slow.

Reopen app. helps, but this is very annoying. Can I fix it somehow?

Please look at your logs to see if there’s anything that indicates why it’s taking this time. Do you have network mounted folders etc., for example?

In addition, does it happens always? Or it happens only opening certain directories or mounted resources?

It happens always. I have my google drive, but, it isn’t mounted. Also, I have one remote ssh connection, but I didn’t connect to it.

It happens for all folders, with lots of subfolders and files, but for small one too.

I tried to find something in logs, but I’m not sure what to look for. When I filter nautilus I have:

journalctl -b _PID=25042

I don’t know why this folder was problem, but delete it fixed my problem

Ah, OK. What is “Material-Black-Mango”?

In general, the first step in debugging Gnome (or any other DE) is always to disable all your customisation—this includes extensions, themes, icons etc.

Materijal-black-mango is gnome theme. I didn’t even use it. I try it and switch back to default theme, but after upgrade to fedora 33, my problems started. I think that is very strange problem, but, it is solved now.
Thanks for your help.

Also my Files application (Nautilus), but also file open and save dialog boxes from other applications open slowly. So slow that I also get the “… is not responding.” pop up windows.
In my ~/Templates directory is only a .ott file, which is not related to this issue a assume.

I do have a Nextcloud share in Nautilus, but it is not mounted by default. Furthermore it has been there since long, and the slow starting issue started just recently.

But the issue seems related to networking as I see the following logging when starting Nautilus:
