How can I do a system upgrade when I'm low on disk space?

Continuing from Fedora Desktop 33 Upgrade - #8

Hello,
Problem solved, thank you very much for your assistance,
Next issue; my system is running low on disk space.
I cleared the log files but that’s not enough.
Is it possible to tell system-upgrade to use an external usb disk?
If so, how to clear the already downloaded files?
Patrick

See if you can combine

sudo dnf system-upgrade download --releasever=33

with the

--downloaddir=<path>

flag, where <path> can point to your /home/user directory (if you have enough space there) or an external drive, /media/4567-1234/...
