How to apply sound card patch in Fedora 33

,

Hi everyone,
I saw a patch for the alc1220 sound card on a posting, Patch link: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/attachment.cgi?id=284221&action=edit. Can anyone explain how the patch works in Fedora 33?
Please describe the steps in detail. :innocent:
Thank you very much! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I tried to compile this patch into kernel 5.9.15-200.fc33 a few days ago, and it suggests that the patch is no longer applicable to the current kernel (the patch is full of junk), or maybe it’s cause of my inexperience.

My mobo is “ASUS ROG Strix X470-F Gaming”, the built-in sound card is “SupremeFX S1220A” (Realtek).
When the computer is booted into fedora, plugged into the rear panel of the speaker left and right channels will emit a nuisance sound; front panel plugged into the headphones sound normal.
Through continuous attempts, using a simpler way to fix it, everything is normal now.
