How to maximize firefox window?

Hi,
I just installed Fedora 34 on my new computer. I decided to try it after using ubuntu on my old computer
for a few years.

I was going to download Mozilla Firefox, but noticed that it was already installed, but it seems it is not possible to maximize (or minimize) the window?

The icons to maximize or minimize the window – which is on the top right corner of the window on every operating system I have ever used – is missing. What is going on? How can I fix it?
I also noticed there is a lot of bookmarks already installed in the toolbar. Is this regular Firefox or some special Fedora Edition built on Firefox?

Options:

  • Use Super+Up/Down.
  • Drag the window up to the top panel.
  • Double-click the window title.
  • Enable window management buttons:
gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.wm.preferences \
    button-layout ":minimize,maximize,close"

The Firefox build on Fedora comes with multiple patches.

You also can install gnome-tweaks and set those buttons inside
tweaks β†’ Windows Titlebars β†’ Titlebar Buttons

OK, thanks. I installed gnome-tweaks and reenabled the buttons.
I dont’t know why they would remove them. It’s not very intuitive.

Been that way for a long time. I have been using tweaks for several releases.
