I am new to Fedora, trying to install it for the first time.
and since my laptop uses OpenSUSE at the moment, used its Studio ImageWriter to create a bootable USB stick with the Fedora ISO.
I tested it on a desktop and it booted properly and allowed me to start the installation process.
However, on my laptop (Acer TarvelMate B117) I only get to the first screen, where I need to choose an option such as install, test+instal, etc.
Once I choose install the screen goes blank, the cursor blinks at the top left corner and nothing happens anymore.
I also tried the option of installing in basic graphics mode, but with the same results.
It looks like something in the onboard graphics disagrees with the Fedora installation. Is this a known problem? Is there a workaround?
