Running Fedora 32 I was thinking of emulating my games through Wine. However, it appears that if I wanted to install Wine, it installs a host of “i686” packages along with it. In order to not pollute my every-day clean 64-bit running system with additional 32-bit components, I wonder if there is a containerized version available.
I tried FlatHub, but only find “Phoenices PlayOnLinux”, where I hardly get a single game to even start, let alone run stable.
Does anyone have an idea on how to properly containerize Wine to keep the undesired 32-bit packages out of my 64-bit system?
Not having any experience with container software like Docker or SystemD-nSpawn, can those be a solution or do they not allow running GUI applications or even have enough resources to run games?
