So, it looks like there is a problem that seems to be plaguing multiple Electron apps that’s related to libappindicator. For me, it’s Discord. It seems every now and then there’s a segfault happening in libappindicator. I found the log at the bottom of the post in the journal. It seems that other people have been patching libappindicator-gtk3 for other distros like https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/65885. And I see there is a bug report in here in Bugzilla to just replace libappindicator with the supported Ayatana Indicators. I’m just wondering if there’s anything I can or should be doing to try and get this fixed for Fedora.
