mouse middle button paste suddenly stopped working as of today 6/1/22; using gnome on X11; fedora 36. Usually I click on (any) window and drag to highlight then click on the destination and middle click to paste the selection in the destination window. Seems to work still in gnome terminal. Must get it to work in xterminal since that is my favorite. Someone suggested adding “xterm*selectToClipboard: true” to ~/.Xresources and this made it possible to cut and paste with middle button BETWEEN xterminals but not e.g. between firefox and xterm; may have something to do with x11 vs. wayland having a different clipboard;
