No 4k output over HDMI, nor any Sound over HDMI

I have an Acer Swift 5 running Fedora Silverblue.
It has Intel UHD 620 graphics.
The display i’m connected to, a samsung M70A 4k smart monitor, is reporting that it CAN DO 4K through EDID (when edid-decoded), and my Bigger PC (Running Fedora Workstation, with NVIDIA Graphics) can output 4K to this display, through the wire i’m using.
I’ve tried to force 4k output through generation of xrandr modes (through toolbox, idk if that changes much since the display goes black for a split second), but it doesn’t work (It comes up with a failed to set resolution error or something.)
The second HDMI issue is that I can’t seem to put audio through it to my monitor’s speakers, or any monitor’s speakers for that fact.
Help!

Could you please give us more info’s as :

inxi -Fzx in terminal and post the output as </> Preformatted text here.

Also this isn’t my first time on askfedora, for some reason it just asked me to create a new account :expressionless:

Ah ok, might be good you also check why this happens.
Do you remember the old user name ?

same as this one. Note that i still have the same fedora account (as in i didn’t have to re-register my email.)
But that’s a minor issue compared to this one.

please help me with the 4k problem ;-;
