OpenWeather - F35

I installed Fedora 35-beta and gnome-shell-extension-openweather.noarch 1-0.48.20210509gitd714eb1.fc35 @fedora was installed. Yet it does not support G`41, any idea when that might happen? My only missing piece.

Hi @daveome
Good to meet you here. Do you know Fedora is out of beta now? Download Fedora Workstation
In my Fedora 35 with Gnome 41 is no open weather in gnome-shell-extensions https://extensions.gnome.org/
The gnome shell extensions need to be updated by their makers to Gnome 41. Most extensions are not yet available because this updating is slow.

A “dirty” hack would be to edit the metadata.json file in ~/.local/share/gnome-shell/extensions/xxx, where “xxx” is the name of the extension to include “41” as the version instead of “40.”

Because the “bones” of 41 are mostly the same as 40, the worst that could happen would be that the extension still doesn’t work.

Thanks Bryan, I found it at /usr/share/gnome-shell/extensions/. It came up after re-logging in.
I started with 35-beta because of a new machine, was surprised that the extension was installed.
