Please tell me which software I must install

My internet speed is slow. So I want to install it as little as possible. I want to try netinstall. But I don’t know which software is essential. What do I absolutely need to install?
I want to use GNOME.
Please give me some advice.

It depends on your needs, i.e. most of the GNOME apps are optional as well as most of the other packages, e.g. NetworkManager-wifi is an optional component but you may want to install it if you need Wi-Fi.

In short, you can simply select the “Minimal Install” and then install GNOME manually starting from the following packages:

gdm
gnome-terminal
nautilus

Search with the package manager or ask here to find out which package provides the necessary functionality.

I also installed Fedora from the minimum and currently have the following manually installed packages:

Actually, if your issue is just the ISP bandwidth, it may be worth to use BitTorrent to download the installation media.
You can always remove the unnecessary packages later.

It’s too early to use netinstall for me. I will download the full version.
Thank you.

i think you should do netinstall with minimal package selection as possible, and then after you boot into fedora install the desktop from command line using dnf group list and dnf group install "GNOME" .
after you get desktop installed you can continue using gnome software ui instead of command line if you feel it is easier .
