RazerCommander from Open Razer

Hi Guys. I am trying to install OpenRazer GUI RazerCommander on Fedora 32 KDE. Has anyone had any experience with this? This is used to control Razer devices on Linux. I can’t find the rpm packages in Github for this. I have everything else that is needed installed. Thanks.

It’s all written there:

You find a software repo, for automatic updates, or the rpm. (Don’t forget to install kernel-devel manually beforehand).

Thanks, I have all that already installed. I try to download the razerCommander flatpak release and install and I get this error “requires the runtime org.gnome.Platform/x86_64/3.26 which was not found”.

Maybe RazerGenie works better.

Install:

flatpak install flathub xyz.z3ntu.razergenie

But note: Requires OpenRazer to be installed outside of flatpak via a distribution package.

I assume you mean the flatpak listed under Releases: https://github.com/GabMus/razerCommander/releases
That seems to be pretty old! It requires the upstream Gnome Platform, which you can install as follows:

flatpak install flathub org.gnome.Platform/x86_64/3.26

Note: Gnome 3.26 is not supported anymore.

Thanks for all the help! I just installed it. The way it was presented it was a way to assign keymaps to my Nostromo keypad. It just controls the lighting. I am looking for a way that emulates or replaces the configurator that comes with the driver on windows. Tried installing with wine but no go.

I was able to install the Nostromo configurator with wine but the Nostromo is not being detected. If I could get Fedora to detect the keypad I would be all set lol.
