There is a “blob” sound (for device detached/attached) every now in Fedora and I don’t know where it is coming from.
Actually it’s always:
- “device detached sound”
- one second afterwards: device attached sound
This happens quite randomly. (and started after an update)
That said, it could obviously be an layer 1 error, i.e. an USB has a slack point/loose connection, but without knowing what it is, I hardly know which…
Also, all my devices seem to work. (e.g. mouse, keyboard etc. that are attached via USB)
What is worse is I don’t know what device it is. When i look in Nautilus I see it updates the view (bookmarks list e.g. flashes), but it does to show a difference.
Questions
- Can I monitor what is being detached/attached somehow/what makes this sound/request?
- How to fix this?
