Updated now Chrome completely unusable

I ran a system update and now Chrome is completely broken. It loads up but as you mouse around everything moves around or becomes a black square.

It does this for the entire application, menus and everything, not just the viewer area.

Any ideas?

Do you by any chance use a nvidia gpu? This kind of issue could happen if the nvidia kernel module for the proprietary driver failed to build.

glxinfo | grep vendor will tell you what drivers you’re currently using.

dkms status will show what’s up with your kernel modules.
