I am using fedora 37 workstation (so gnome with wayland but i also checked X11) freshly installed.
This device contains three input devices. A touchpad, a touchscreen and a pen you can use with the touchscreen.

For the Touchpad: only the primary click works
For the Touchscreen: It seems to be impossible to “right click”, you are apparently supposed to use two fingers for that but it has not worked at all
With the pen it is also impossible to click using the built in buttons, there are also no settings that appear for it in the wacom pen settings in gnome(even with libinput and libwacom installed

These issues also appeared in X11, however the interesting thing is that i tried the latest iso of ubuntu 22.10 and it seems some of the right click issues are slightly alleviated(i tested a live environment which by default used X11)

Rotation: The device is able to rotate its screen depending on the orientation but i can find no such control in the gnome settings, i should also note that this also worked on the ubuntu live image.

Fingerprint reader:(by ELAN) the finger print reader for whatever reason shows up as an external device with its own battery stuck at 1%
image

These are the issues i have been able to find so far.
At least the input and rotation ones are interesting, as for the Elan it would be at least nice if someone knew a way to make the kernel ignore its existence somehow because the low battey notification gets annoying.

correcion it seems that this specific elan device shows is supposed to be the pen.
for whatever reason it only shows up as 1%

Moving this topic to #english . #common-issues is used for already established bugs which affect a large portion of our user base.

That model might have a different digitizer and pen, but maybe this page will help you somehow: HP Envy x360 13z-ag000 - ArchWiki

Did you enable? Mouse & Touchpad → Tap to click

You should be able to tap with two fingers after that.

You can also install gnome-tweaks,and under Keyboard and Mouse → Mouse Click Emulation you can set the method for right and middle clicks.
