Videos from youtube and twitter were not working in the Opera browser Version: 74.0.3911.75

Hello

Videos from youtube and twitter were not working in the Opera browser Version: 74.0.3911.75

I had to manually put the lib_extra file

After doing this, everything worked normally.

The question is:
Is the procedure performed by me correct?
Shouldn’t this file have already been installed when installing Opera Browser?
If so, how to proceed and inform the packer about the lack of this plugin in Opera Browser?

Follows information from the Fedora Distro

I have no experience with Opera, but I would guess that you can install Ffmpeg and any other missing codecs from RPMFusion.

Hello

I followed all the suggestions above, but the only way to make the videos on twitter and facebook work in the latest version of Opera 64 is to migrate the lib_extra file with libffmpeg.so manually to /usr/lib64/opera.

I had to reinstall fedora 33 deepin 15.11 with btrfs, where I did the same procedure.
