I currently have 30 running flawlessly. I’m having issues installing 31. I want to download a version of 30 while I work on these issues but it is no longer showing on the Fedora site. Where can I download 30 so I have a backup in case?
Try with this link, supposing that you are looking for Workstation Live https://download.fedoraproject.org/pub/fedora/linux/releases/30/Workstation/x86_64/iso/
Thanks, but I get the following message:
The requested URL /fedora/releases/30/Workstation/x86_64/iso/ was not found on this server.
Never mind, the link didn’t work, but when I copied & pasted the address it worked. Thanks a bunch for the help.
So you have landed on a mirror that doesn’t have 30 ISOs anymore (I suppose).
Try this direct link https://fedora.mirror.garr.it/fedora/linux/releases/30/Workstation/x86_64/iso/
Oh, these are magic things
Actually, the direct link is:
Hi, want to download Fedora 30 but don’t know how, in Fedora website just find Fedora 31 links.
Why want back 30? Well…
- GOG Games don’t run in 31, terminal says something about missed fonts.
- Can’t install scilab (I really need it), here: https://apps.fedoraproject.org/packages/scilab say that is available in 31 but what the heck?
- Can’t install eclipse IDE (dnf install eclipse as superuser)
- All work perfect (at least) for me in 30, even games.
Please can give me a link to Fedora 30 (Preferred KDE)? Thanks.
P.S. Welcome to the community!
This is a good approach but it will not take to you anywhere, at some point 30 will be EOL and you will have to take care of all these problems, I suggest to you open a TOPIC for every of your problem and resolve it one by one.
Go find the bittorrent page, it has everything, old and new.
