Xrandr: failed to parse '1280x768_59.87' as a mode specification

I run the script: xrandr --newmode 1280x768_59.87 59.87 ; h: width 1280 1344 1472 1664 ; v: height 768 771 781 -HSync +VSync

which my monitor’s resolution is 1366x768@60.00Mhertz but the computer(not the OS) read it as 1024x768…I use the latest Nobara (36)…

Please read #start-here if you not done already.

It is quite uncertain how your setup looks like, could you please give us more info’s as:
inxi -Fzx in terminal and post the output as </> Preformatted text here.

If you use Wayland probably xrander will not work … it is for x11.

And putting the frequency twice also looks strange:
1280x768_59.87 59.87

Thank you… i finally fixed it by WaylandEnabled=false script at etc/gdm/custom.conf…
